DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar, who took oath as chief minister of Bihar at a function held in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan.
In a message posted on X, Rio congratulated Kumar on assuming office and wished him a successful tenure. “Had the honour of attending the swearing-in ceremony of Shri Nitish Kumar Ji as the CM of Bihar. Congratulations and best wishes for a successful tenure,” he wrote.
Rio also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that his leadership “continues to drive progress for all.”
The ceremony was attended by several Union ministers, chief ministers of BJP-ruled states, and senior leaders of the National Democratic Alliance.
