Dimapur, Dec. 11 (EMN): A review camp for People with Disabilities (PwDs) was held at Phek on Dec. 7 at the 22nd Battalion, Assam Rifles camp, with the Deputy Commissioner, Phek Shanavas as the chief guest.
DSC in his address, said the day has marked as a historic day for everyone and called upon the disabled persons to avail opportunity where treatment was given free of cost. “We need to live and work for our good health which should be a priority of our life,” Shanavas said. He also gave away cash incentives to all the disable persons.
During the camp, Dr. Balmuri Avanish, medical officer, 22nd AR; Dr. K. Kuotsu Sr. specialist (ortho); Shevosa Vese, Jr. specialist (gen. surgery) and Dr. Senilu Magh, Jr. specialist (psychriatry) attended about 100 patients.
