Resolution of the Political Consultative Meeting of the Somdal National Workers of the NSCN with the Chief Political Negotiator and General Secretary-Ato Kilonser of NSCN/GPRN Th. Muivah
On April 29, 2025 the Somdal national workers of the NSCN and the Chief Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah, General Secretary-Ato Kilonser NSCN/GPRN had a fruitful and rewarding political consultative meeting
On April 29, 2025 the Somdal national
workers of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) and the Chief
Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah, General Secretary-Ato Kilonser (Prime
Minister), NSCN/GPRN had a fruitful and rewarding political consultative
meeting at his official residence in Wungram Colony, Dimapur, Nagaland. The
members present in the meeting recognised and acknowledged his commitment and
sacrifices to the Nagalim national cause. The meeting duly recognised and
acknowledged that his leadership has contributed colossally to the Nagalim
national movement and took the following resolutions:
1. The Somdal national workers
consultative meeting concluded that the Chief Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah,
General Secretary-Ato kilonser, NSCN/GPRN has consolidated Nagalim Political
Foundation in defending Nagalim unique history and Nagalim sovereignty for the
following important reasons:
a) The Somdal national workers consultative
meeting concluded that the condemnation of the betrayed 1975 Shillong Accord
and the subsequent formation of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim
(NSCN) in 1980 is in defence of Nagalim unique history and Nagalim sovereignty.
b) The Somdal national workers
consultative meeting concluded that the Indo-Naga Political dialogue which
started on August 1, 1997 recognized and acknowledged that Nagalim is not the
internal matter of India for Burma (Myanmar) as the case may be] and the
political dialogue began with with due recognition and acknowledgement of
Nagalim sovereignty as the talks began at the Prime Minister level, without
pre-condition and outside India in a third country.
c) The Somdal national workers
consultative meeting concluded that with the signing of the Amsterdam Joint
communiqué of July 11, 2002 between the Government of India (Gol) and the
National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN), the Gol has officially recognised
and acknowledged the unique history and situation of Nagalim admitting that
Nagalim was/is never a part of India [or Burma (Myanmar) as the case may be].
Therefore, The Amsterdam Joint communiqué of July 11, 2002 officially admits
Nagalim sovereignty.
d) The Somdal national workers
consultative meeting deeply appreciates late Chairman Isak Chishi Swu and the
the Chief Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah, General Secretary-Ato kilonser,
NSCN/GPRN for having signed the Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015 on the
foundation of the recognition and acknowledgement or Nagalim unique history and
Nagalim sovereignty. Since sovereignty represents and constitutes identity, the
letter and spirit of the Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015 officially
recognise and acknowledge the sovereign Nagalim national flag and the sovereign
Nagalim national constitution.
2. The Somdal national workers
consultative meeting meeting therefore deeply appreciates and is thankful to
the Chief Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah, General Secretary-Ato Kilonser,
NSCN/GPRN, for having consolidated and defended the Nagalim and the Naga
people's mandate on Nagalim unique history and Nagalim sovereignty.
3. The Somdal national workers
consultative meeting meeting therefore resolve that we shall carry forward
Nagalim national struggle based on the national foundation and legacy laid down
by the Chief Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah, General Secretary-Ato Kilonser,
NSCN/GPRN to the last, come what may.
The resolutions are agreed and endorsed
by all the Somdal national workers of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim
(NSCN), wherever they are, and the resolution is signed on their behalf by the
Convener and Secretary of the Somdal national workers.
