KOHIMA, JUNE 11: The Radiant Educational Society (RES) Kohima has announced to organize its 3rd RES Art Competition 2016 under the theme ‘Child Rights Begins in the Womb’ on June 25 at 9 a.m. at SIRD Auditorium, Kohima for the youth of age group 13 to 18 years.
The organization informed through a press release today that the competition aims to promote amongst youngsters the role of art as a critical ingredient in the definition of Children world and identity and to showcase their inborn talents.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners will fetch cash prizes of Rs.10,000, Rs.7000, Rs.5000 and Rs.2000 respectively while the 5th, 6th , 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th positions will get Rs.1000 each.
RES informed candidates to enclose one passport sized photo and date of birth as proof of document, and the form should reach the RES office on or before June 18.
The competition will be strictly based on the theme. It was also informed that a sum of Rs.100/- will be realized from each participant as registration fee and the form should be verified and countersigned along with seal by the head of the institution. No photo copy of the form will be accepted, the release stated, and further informed that forms can be downloaded at www.radianteducationalsociety.com or availed at Alma Computer Institute SBI Building First Floor, Mission Road near North Police Station, Kohima.
