Dimapur, Feb. 25 (EMN): The Nagaland unit of the Republican Party of India (A) wants educated youths to join the party to ‘fight the evils prevailing and destroying the very fabric of our state.’ The party gave the invitation during an executive meeting they conducted on February 24 at the Tourist Lodge in Dimapur.
During the meeting the party’s president, Mughato Aye, “disclosed” that ‘seven districts’ in Nagaland have “shown positive response to join RPI (A) Nagaland,” a press release from the group stated on Monday.
An enrolment drive for the party will be undertaken accordingly in phases, the press release stated.
In the first phase, the district of Dimapur, Kohima, Peren and Phek will be enrolled, the updates stated. Aye urged the party’s members “to keep on educating the innocent and oppressed section of the society” and “spread the ideology of the party and its aims and objectives.”
The organisation has ‘asked the educated youth to join the party fold to fight the evils prevailing and destroying the very fabric of our state.’
‘RPI (A) is not only a party but is an opportunity, a platform to fight the system at the highest level. Last but not the least it is time for the Nagas to come together and stand its ground for a true change. RPI (A) is committed to striving for a better tomorrow of which every Naga is yearning for,’ the press release stated.
