Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): The four-day long 45th sports meet of Rengma Sports Association (RSA) concluded at the RSA ground, in Tseminyu old town on Sat. Jan. 19.
Addressing the valedictory function, Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Tseminyu Division, V. Khekato Assumi congratulated the winners and also encouraged the losers by saying that ‘in sports there is no loser since in the long run everyone is a winner’.
“If you want to be a winner you must have plan to win, be prepared and never quit then at the end of the day you are a winner,” he said.
He also gave away the cash awards, trophies and citations to the winners.
More than 300 players from different Rengma villages and officials besides the RSA executives participated in three events which include badminton, table tennis, and volleyball for both men and women.
The overall results of the sports meet are as follows:

Marathon (men): 1st – Yhunsinlo Tep of Terogvunyu village; 2nd – Kenyuyhun Khing of T Zinsunyu village; 3rd – Ina Kent of Tseminyu Town
Marathon (women): 1st – Keshonile Kemp of Sendenyu village; 2nd – Keni Kent of Sendenyu village; 3rd – Sharon Kessen of PLSA.
