KOHIMA — Nagaland Police has withdrawn its own order directing the closure and suspension of coaching centres operating without registration under the Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres in the State of Nagaland, 2025.
In a corrigendum issued on Saturday, Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) Sandeep M. Tamgadge, informed the commissioner of police, Dimapur, and superintendents of police across the state that the June 5 order on the suspension of unregistered coaching centres has been kept in abeyance and withdrawn with immediate effect until further orders.
The corrigendum stated that the decision was taken following a further review of the matter.
However, the police directed owners and operators of coaching centres concerned to obtain the necessary permissions and approvals from the competent authorities in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
