Dimapur, June 6 (EMN): While considering the plight of the All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group (ANATG), Peren unit of the All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA), has urged the state government to immediately regularise the service of 1166 adhoc teachers in the state.
In the press release, the unit president, Kaibakam Pamai, and the general secretary, Haidun, stated that the education department is in clear knowledge that ANATG members had fulfilled all the criteria, terms and conditions directed to them by undergoing required professional training, suitability test conducted by the department on May 20, 2017, spot verification of documents on May 22, 2017.
The unit also stated that despite of their services rendered for 8-9 years on fixed pay salary, ANATG were disregarded, unaddressed and denied justice till date.
In the light of all these formalities being done, the unit has urged the state government to regularise the post of 1166 teachers of various categories without any further delay.
Meanwhile, the unit has supported the ongoing agitation of the state SSA teachers and urged the state government to find an amicable solution to fulfil the demand of their fellow agitating teachers at the earliest.
