Registration for recruitment into Indian army as Agniveer has been opened from February 16 to March 15 for all districts of Nagaland and Manipur.
A defence release informed that candidates could register themselves using their Aadhar cards or class 10th certificates. During registration, candidates would be required to pay INR 250 as fee using UPI, credit/ debit cards or internet banking. It stated that Indian army would pay the balance of INR 250 on behalf of each candidate. It, therefore, asked the candidates to activate their debit card for online transactions.
It informed that all registered candidates would undergo an online common entrance exam (CEE) at the chosen exam centre during first stage of recruitment. It stated that there are two such examination centres in Nagaland and three examination centres in Manipur.
It further stated that two important videos on ‘How to apply’ and ’How to appear in online CEE’ are hosted on Join Indian Army website for guidance.
