Dimapur, May 9 (EMN): Mon District Health Society conducted refresher training on reporting format, basic lab test for ANMs and ASHAs, Village Health Nutrition Day (VHND), HIV/AIDS, roles and responsibilities of senior medical officers/ nurses, RNTCP (TB), NVBDCP (malaria) and Non-communicable diseases (NCD) on May 7 and 8.
The training was conducted at World Vision conference hall as part of its quarterly review meeting.
The members have also discussed on the intensified diarrhea campaign fortnight and population stabilisation fortnight week.
Addressing the members, Dr. Kechongol Sophie, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), emphasised on the responsibilities towards one's duty. While reminding on the low performance of the health units in the district, he urged to improve without anymore delay.
The refresher courses were taken up by Dr. Limatula Ao, Deputy CMO; Dr. Tinenlo, DTO; Dr. Shasinle Tep, DPO RCH/UIP; Dr. Limatula Aier, DPO NVBDCP; Dr. Shokwang, MO Chen PHC; Dr. Kumkiuba Yimchunger, Epidermologist; Longyim Ao, DPO DAPCU; Tali, DH lab-tech; district community mobiliser and block programme managers.
The meeting was attended by the block medical officers, nurses of the health units and district programme management unit staff (DPMU).
