Referee suspended from Nagaland Super League
Nagaland Super League Technical Committee has handed down disciplinary actions following the incident during match no. 24, which took place on February 26 at Chümoukedima Football Ground between Red Scars FC and Sechu Zubza FC.

Nagaland Super League Technical Committee has handed down disciplinary actions
following the incident during match no. 24, which took place on February 26 at
Chümoukedima Football Ground between Red Scars FC and Sechu Zubza FC.
- A press release stated that the player representing Red
Scars FC, Thanggousang Hangsing (jersey no. 21), was substituted by Pulovi
(jersey no. 17) in the 89th minute. However, he re-entered the field of play
without the referee’s permission and deliberately left it, violating match
regulations. He was penalised a yellow card for unsporting behaviour.
- Red Scars FC team management failed to uphold their
responsibilities by neglecting proper substitution procedures. As a result, the
club has been sanctioned a monetary fine for unsporting behaviour.
- The main referee of the match, Vibek Chettri, has been
relieved of officiating any further matches in the ongoing Nagaland Super
League with immediate effect. The other match officials on duty during the
match have been issued an official caution and are under observation.
- The players and support staff who made vocal complaints on
the sidelines and outside the field of play (FOP) are under caution and
observation. Any further misconduct or repeated offences will result in strict
disciplinary action.
