[dropcap]A[/dropcap]chilla Imlong Erdican: She is an educationist, social worker and a philanthropist. Educated in four countries namely India, USA, Canada and England, she is a highly qualified and well traveled person with the distinction of having membership in professional societies, offices and committee appointments. She is known for her active involvement in church as well as social community works in Nagaland and abroad. She is also instrumental in the publication of Adult Primers and follow-up readers in Chang, Sangtam and Imchunger languages. She is also a recipient of Government’s Award 2011 for distinguished achievements in the field of Literature. Khumtsa Wotsa: He is known as the first man to propagate the abolishment of dowry system amongst the Christian Sumis and practices what he preached by setting an example in refusing to take dowry for his first daughter’s marriage. He is also known as a reformer and peacemaker. Today he is 108 years old and he lives a very dedicated and prayerful life. Recipients of Kohima district awards Janikhoü Savino: She is a woman of faith and was very active in the ministry of God for more than 28 years. She was a missionary not only for the Angamis but for the Chakhesang and Semas too. She is 94 years old and wife of Rev. Megosieso Savino. Kentso Keppen: With a theological background, he was the first Field Diretor of the Rengma Baptist Church Association. A man of many trades, he worked as a vaccinator under the British Government during the 2nd World War. He also served as a Christian Pandit Teacher and later on taught at Kohima Bible College. He is a founding member of Tseminyu Old Town. He is 95 years old.
