Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): A month after Realme unveiled its Realme 9 Pro lineup in India, the company is back with cheaper alternatives with the launch of Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE smartphones.
The SE in the new Realme 9 5G SE stands for "Speed Edition" and the phone lives up to its name with a faster processor and a faster 144Hz refresh rate display.
The Realme 9 5G SE comes in two variants: A 6GB/128GB model priced at INR 19,999 and an 8GB/128GB model priced at INR 22,999. The device comes in either Azure Glow or Starry Glow colour options.
On the other hand, the Realme 9 5G comes in two variants: A 4GB/64GB priced at 14,999 and a 6GB/128GB priced at INR 17,499. Users can choose between Meteor Black or Stargaze White colour options.
Both devices go on sale in India on March 14 via Flipkart or the official Realme website.
The Realme 9 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset and packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge support.
The device sports a 6.5” full HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,400 px resolution. The display has support for 90Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 180 Hz.

The Realme 9 5G comes with a triple camera setup including a 48 MP main camera, a macro lens and a depth module. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfie duties.
Realme 9 5G SE is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor which is a faster CPU and much faster GPU compared to the Pro.
The device sports a 6.6” full HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,412 px resolution. The display has support for 144Hz refresh rate, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate and can reach a peak brightness of 600 nits.
