Dimapur, September 17: Parliamentary Secretary of Information & Public Relations, Khekaho Assumi exhorted the students of Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Shiksha Kendra in Chekiye village, Dimapur, to work hard with determination and be confident to shine in life.
Khekaho Assumi said this while addressing the students at the 7th Hindi Diwas celebration as the chief guest on September 17.
“If you want to become someone in life, put in your hard work, keep the midnight oil burning, have a dream and work towards achieving your dream,” Assumi exhorted. Quoting Abdul Kalam who once said, “Dream is not what you dream at night but dream is something that do not let you sleep,” the Parliamentary Secretary reminded the students that they will sleep off when they have nothing in mind but with determination they can change circumstances.Further Khekaho said management of school, faculty members, students and parents are four ingredients for producing quality students from schools and colleges. He insisted that all the four must play cohesive role simultaneously to produce good students.
During the programme, importance of Hindi Diwas was highlighted by teacher Arjun. Commemorating the day, students of RBHSK presented dances, songs, traditional show and various entertainment items. Manjai offered the invocation, while Eviti and Anan read the scriptures in Hindu and English respectively. The programme was compered by Solomon and Jennifer and concluded with benediction prayer offered by teacher Zepre.
