Dimapur, Aug. 29 (EMN): The governor of Nagaland RN Ravi is said to have had discussions with the minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari concerning the status of 14 road projects under the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) in Nagaland.
Raj Bhavan gave updates on Thursday informing about the meeting.
Ravi held a meeting with Gadkari on August 29 at the Transport Bhavan in New Delhi, a press release from Raj Bhavan stated.
“A review of the status of 14 road projects under NHIDCL in Nagaland was taken during the meeting with special focus on Dimapur- Kohima four laning project (sic). The minister assured all possible measures would be taken to ensure completion of the projects on time.”
Ravi will periodically review the status of these projects with all in concern including senior officials of the NHIDCL to monitor the progress, the press release stated.
The chairman of the NHIDCL and other senior officials of the ministry also were in the meeting, the press release stated.
