Dimapur, Nov. 13: Sikkim dominated the first innings with a score of 374 runs on the second day of the ongoing Ranjit Trophy match against Nagaland at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima in Dimapur on Tue. Nov. 13.
Sikkim’s batsman, Milind, scored 224 off 215 balls and BB Sharma also scored 90 off 100 balls.
Nagaland’s Pawan Suyal was the wrecker-in-chief capturing seven wickets in 25 overs followed by Tadmeed with 2 wickets and Imliwati with 1.
At the end of the second day’s play, Nagaland was struggling at 97 runs losing five wickets in 40 overs. Pawan K B was still standing firm with a patient 61 off 93 balls.
Sikkim’s Ishwar Chaudhary and B B Sharma, shared two wickets each while Lee Yong Lepcha chipped in with one wicket.
The third day’s play will commence on Wed. Nov. 14 from 8:45 am.
