Ramietech Solutions now in Dimapur

Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, Sep. 29: A leading IT firm in Nagaland, Ramietech Solutions, based in Kohima since 2012, has now branched out to the state’s commercial district, Dimapur. A modest ceremony marking the event was conducted on Saturday. The administrator of the Chumoukedima Town Council, Thejavizo Nakhro, spoke during the occasion. He said that the two brothers leading Ramietech Solutions were headed in the right direction, which has now made the establishment one of the top IT firms in Nagaland. “There are around 70,000 educated unemployed people in the state and the two brothers along with likeminded people have overcome that factor,” Nakhro said. He hoped that many more inspiring and success stories like that of the firm would be seen in future. The chief executive officer of Ramietech Solutions, Kedosietuo Nagi, recalled the many challenges he and his brother faced during the initial days of the company. “We had a challenging economic and social environment and we learned by trial and error,” Nagi said. In the firm’s assurance to offer quality services, Nagi said it was not all that a “smooth ride” due to various reasons. Ramietech Solutions has worked with many government departments in the state in terms of software development, website design, and “basically anything to do with computers,” Nagi remarked. The IT firm had previously worked with the election department in the state where the company was roped in for the election commission of India’s Electoral Role Management System. They have also worked for the chief minister’s office for the e-archives while also implemented digitalization of both the library and museum in the state. Ramietech Solutions is currently working with the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority on information management systems.
