College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in Jalukie concludes Rajbhasha Week celebrations.
DIMAPUR — The College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Jalukie, celebrated Rajbhasha Week from September 16 to the 22nd.
The event was attended by Dr. I Shakuntala, Dean of the college; special guest Dr. Brijesh Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Hindi at Nagaland University; along with faculty members, staff, and students.
Speaking on the occasion, the dean highlighted the significance of Rajbhasha Diwas in enriching national unity and spoke on the diversity of the linguistic heritage of India.

The celebration featured various competitions in which students, staff, and faculty took part, including Hindi solo song, Hindi oral word, Hindi written word, and Hindi poem recitation.
At the valedictory programme, a lecture was delivered by Dr. Brijesh Kumar on “Hindi as the official language and its use”. He urged the use of Hindi in official work to demonstrate respect for the nation and encouraged everyone to speak and write it confidently in day-to-day communication.
