Nagaland government renames Raj Bhavan as Lok Bhavan following Ministry of Home Affairs approval and Governor’s consent.

DIMAPUR — The state government has announced that Raj Bhavan, Nagaland, has been officially renamed as Lok Bhavan, Nagaland, following a communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
According to a notification issued by Thavaseelan K, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor of Nagaland, the change was made in pursuance of an MHA communication dated November 25 and with the approval of the Governor.

The notification, issued through the DIPR on Tuesday, stated that the institution previously known as “Raj Bhavan, Nagaland” shall henceforth be referred to as “Lok Bhavan, Nagaland.” The change comes into immediate effect.
