
Dimapur: Isolated heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Northeast states including Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal till March 21, according to an update from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
On Monday, light and moderate rainfall and thundershowers were observed in many parts of Nagaland.
District-wise update showed that on Monday, districts including Tuensang, Mokokchung, Peren, Mon, and Kohima experienced heavy rain with thunderstorm and lightning, while Kiphire, Wokha, Dimapur and Longleng districts experienced thunderstorm and lighting.

On March 22, Dimapur, Peren, Tuensang, Mokokchung, and Wokha will likely experience thunderstorm and lightning. Mon and Longleng districts will likely experience heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning, according to the IMD.
