Dimapur, Aug. 3 (EMN): The GBs, chairmen, leaders of six villages namely Dhansiripar, Zutovi, Pimla, Khemnok, Razaphe Basa and Shokhuvi said that the 'indefinite bandh' on construction of the railway project has been resolved amicably and therefore decided to allow the construction houses involved with the project to go ahead with the construction for timely completion of the project.
A press release issued by the GBs, chairmen and leaders of the six mentioned villages expressed gratitute to the state government as well as the central railway authority for redressing the grievances of the beneficiaries in these villages by releasing the compensation bringing parity to some level'.
"The extension of land and the compensation need relook for right compensation and can't equate with the land already taken possession by the Railways," the release added. The press release was appended by Hd GB Pimla, Dohoi; Hd GB of Dhansiripar, Deji Girisa; Hd GB of Zutovi, Victo; the chairman of Razaphe Basa KK Rio; P Sheiengyu of Khemnok and GB of Shokhuvi, Vekuto.
