Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): Commissioner of Railway Safety, Northeast Frontier circle, Kolkata SK Pathak on Sunday inspected the newly constructed Broad Gauge line from Tetelia to Kamalajari under the Lumding division.
A statement from Sr.PRO/Con NF Railway SK Ojah, said that the much awaited 10.153 Km long new line of Tetelia-Kamalajari section is now ready for traffic from Sunday.
The commissioner took a motor trolley inspection of the line and later tested a speed train trial run for passenger traffic. The newly constructed BG line from Tetelia to Kamalajari is a portion of the section of the Tetelia to Byrnihat (21.640 Km) new BG line project, the Ojah said.
