Rahul Gandhi to address rally in Dimapur

Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, Jan. 18 (EMN): Congress president, Rahul Gandhi will be arriving in Nagaland to address an election rally after Jan. 30 next, according to sources from the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC). It can be confirmed that NPCC leaders on Thu. approached the Dimapur district administration seeking permission to use the Dimapur District Sports Council stadium for the rally. However, due to preparations for the Republic Day celebration on Jan. 26, the Congress workers were informed that they could use the stadium only after the celebrations. According to the NPCC source, this would mean that Gandhi can come only after Jan. 30 next. “His visit is confirmed. it is only a matter of settling the date,” the source informed.
