Fireflood, a Bangalore based gospel band with seven professional musicians from various parts of the Northeast and the country was awarded the “Best Rock Artist-Popular Choice” at the Radio City Freedom Awards fifth edition held in Mumbai on Friday March 23.
Fireflood is a classic rock band with a balance of rock & rolls and blues music. The band was nominated amongst other rock bands under the “Best Rock Artist” category. The band members consist of Jeven John (vocalist) and Kekhrie Ringa (co-vocalist), Algan Lyngdoh (rhythm guitar), Willy Kharlukhi (lead guitar), Aiborlang Marbaniang (bass), Dakerri Shabong (keyboard) and Ethan Alrico (drums).
