Diphu, Oct. 25: A two day consultation meet organised by Presbyterian Women Fellowship (PWF) of Presbyterian Church commenced on Wed. Oct. 25 at Rongkimi Presbyterian Church.
The inauguration function was led by W. A Sohkhlet, Chairperson, PWF while keynote address was delivered by Rev. Rolianthanga Lalsim, Administrative Secretary, i/c PWF. On the first day of the program resource persons Ladbasuk Lyngdoh spoke on the topic of ‘Re-reading the Bible for Change; Rev. Dr. P. B. M Basaiawmoit, Chairman, Peace and Justice committee, PCI spoke on topic ‘Be bold for change is the socio-economic political arena and Zohmangaihi, Regional Secretary, All India Sunday school Association on the second day will speak on ‘Be bold for change in Biblico Theological arena from women’s perspective on the concluding day.
Delegates from different Presbyterian churches of North-east India came together at Rongkimi Presbyterian Church for a consultation with the theme ‘Be bold for change’.
Various Synod from Zou, Manipur, Meitei, Biateram, Cachar Hills Tribes, KJP(sepgni),KJP (Mihgni) , Ribhoi, Mizoram, Karbi Anglong Presbyterian church Synod (KAPCS), Barak Presbytery and Tripura attended the program.
Apart from PWF officials, Presbyterian Church of India, General Assembly, Administrative Secretary Rev. Rolianthanga Lalsim attended as the speaker.
