Dimapur, May 10 (EMN): The All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association has appealed to the government to ‘fully implement the 67% quota of vacancies.’ The organisation issued to the media on Sunday a copy of a representation that was addressed to the chief secretary of Nagaland.
‘Many of the work-charged employees have been serving in the department since many years back and still several genuine work-charged employees await regularization under the scheme 67% quota reservation against normal vacancies; wherein, it has been observed that many fresh appointment are going on from higher ups in 67% quota, which mean for senior most work-charged employees,’ the representation stated. The association has appealed to the state’s government not to make any more new appointments but utilize all vacancies to regularize work-charged employees “as per seniority wise on division wise” in accordance to the decision of the government that was made in the order dated the 17th of March, 2015.
“We have enough appeals already on this matter this is the final appeal after which no further appeal will be made but compel us to go for justice as per the judgement and order of honourable High Court,” it stated.
