Peren Village Council (PVC) held its general meeting cum re-organisation programme on December 28 at Old Peren village and unanimously elected new team of office bearers for a period of three years (2015-2018 ).
The new team of PVC would be headed Gumchubeu Hegui as president, Hairagum Hega as vice president, Dr. Ndangkie Ndang as secretary, Namrachang Hegui as joint secretary, Dr. Zieleigai Ndang as treasurer. The ex-officio members are chairman of Peren Village Haisobi Hega, chairman of New Peren Village Namnabi Hegui, and chairman of Kezanglwa village Hiareuzinbe Hegui.
Advisory board members are Amang Sephe, Kielu Ndang (Ex-MLA), Smt. Sibeule Hegui, Neiba Ndang (former Speaker NLA), PF Zeliang (IGP), Hiakie Hegui, Asiakpe Ernest Sephe, and Iherie Ndang (SP (retd).
