Dimapur, June 15 (EMN): Public Forum Pungro Sub- Division (PFPSD) has appealed the state government and concerned department to maintain and repair the 02 road, stretching Likimro Hydro Electric Project (LHEP) at the earliest for the common benefit of the people and society at large.
In a press release, PFPSD president, S. Kiusumew Yimchungru, stated that the deplorable road condition had caused immense hardship and untold problems to travellers plying on the said road, which has been ‘neglected and abandoned’ by the state government and department for the past so many years.
He also mentioned that denizens of Pungro, various organizations and administration spearheaded by the Public Forum Pungro Sub- Division (PFPSD) have been repairing 02 road stretching Likimro Hydro Electric Project (LHEP), from June 8, with their own contribution without any help from the government.
The PFPSD also informed any organizations, individuals or any loving citizens willing to donate or contribute toward the cause of repairing the road can submit to the forum, where the acknowledgment would be made known after the completion of road.
Meanwhile, PFPSD has apprised all the travellers that plying of heavy vehicles will be restricted due to the on- going road repairing and further appealed all to bear with the inconvenience.
