Dimapur, Mar. 2 (EMN): The extra additional commissioner of Pughoboto Nuhuta Tunyi has informed that counting of votes for 13th Pughoboto assembly constituency (AC) would be on Mar. 3 from 8:00 am.
The officer informed that strong rooms housing all the 33 polled Electronic Voting Machines and the Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail machines, postal ballots etc., would be opened at 7:45 a.m. in the presence of the general observer for Pughoboto AC.
The establishment informed contesting candidates to send their respective representative for the opening of the strong room at 7:45 a.m. The officer added further that the strong rooms would be opened in accordance with stipulated rules of the Election Commission of India.
A government bulletin has stated in its report on March 2.
