
Members of the 13th Pughoboto Assembly Constituency Congress
Committee (ACCC) following the first executive coordination meeting at VDB
hall, Pughoboto, on Saturday.
- DIMAPUR — The
13th Pughoboto Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) held its first
executive coordination meeting at VDB hall, Pughoboto, on Saturday, led by
Swuto Swu, general secretary of the ACCC.
- According to an update, the programme began with an
invocation, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Kamo Wotsa, president of
the ACCC.
- Kaqheto Kughutu, PCC member, gave a short speech,
emphasising the need for unity and active participation to strengthen the
Congress Party in the region.
- Key topics discussed during the meeting included the
appointment of booth-level agents (BLA) and planning for the party's activities
in 2025. It was highlighted that Pughoboto, being the pioneer of Sumi
Christianity, presents a golden opportunity for the Congress Party to revive
and expand its presence.
- The year 2025 was declared the year of organisational
restructuring for the 13th Pughoboto ACCC, with a strong focus on forming
village Congress committees in all villages under the constituency as soon as
possible.
- Executive members were encouraged to dedicate themselves
with commitment and sacrifice for the betterment of the party and to work
tirelessly towards its success in the region.
