Dimapur, September 27: With the fixation of date of NPSC Preliminary exam 2016 on October 8, 2016, the Public Service Aspirants, Nagaland have decided to temporarily suspend its RTI campaign to concentrate on preliminary exam. The campaign, however, will resume in full swing and with more vigour and strength after the exam till the desired goal is achieved, they said in a release.
Meanwhile, the PSAN has conveyed its utmost gratitude and appreciation to Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar for raising the issue of “not sending requisition of posts to NPSC by the departments” during the monthly meeting of AHoDs and HoDs held at his conference hall on September 14. “The Chief Secretary’s unflinching support towards genuine and deserving Public Service Aspirants in fight against corruption in appointment to Public Offices should be appreciated and supported by all right thinking citizens of the land,” the release stated.
The PSAN has also appealed to all AHoDs and HoDs to follow the direction of the Chief Secretary and send post requisition to NPSC whenever vacancy occurs in their respective department.
Further, the PSAN reiterated its appeal to the Finance Commissioner, Government of Nagaland, to send requisition of 20+ JDA posts to NPSC at the earliest as assured by him when their members met him in his office chamber on August 19, 2016.
The PSAN has wished all the public service aspirants for the forthcoming NPSC preliminary examination.
