Pfutsero Town Pastors’ Fellowship has strongly condemned the barbaric assault and extortion of Rs.10,000 on Pastor Krishna Ramauli allegedly by Kuzoveyi Kezo of Pholami village, Deputy Kilonser, Finance of NSCN (R) with cadres on August 31 at about 3 p.m.
PTPF chairman PoyoTunyi and secretary Dr.TsulingupeKapfo in a statement said, “The duty of a pastor, apart from preaching is to nourish and protect the flock from the false doctrine, proclaiming the truth, praying for the people and warning against what is wrong. But it is so distressing to see such uncivilized act toward a pastor. He was even threatened to death with munitions and was treated like a rough,”
PTPF appealed to the concerned authority to control and discipline its cadres and urged all the right-thinking citizens to come forward and condemn such disturbing act which is alien to the Naga society.

“Enough” is the menace, bullying and extortion activities of NSCN(R), said ACAUT Pfutsero unit while expressing its outmost condemnation on the incident of extortion and threatening of the pastor of Nepali Baptist Church, Pfutsero Town.
ACAUT Pfutsero Unit convener, Wezote Kreo and secretary Vikhrutu Leah in a statement said, in the process of “peace & unity” where all the national workers and general public of Nagaland stand together to bring solution to the long political struggle of the Nagas, the ‘utter provocation’ by some few individuals like Küzoveyi Kezo, Deputy Kilonser, Finance of Pholami village brings total shame to all the NSCN (R) and to all the national workers as a whole, by extorting at gun-point at Pfutsero town.
“The panic created by him is a total threat in bringing solution to the Nagas. ACAUT Pfutsero Unit, strongly condemns and resolves ‘not to tolerate’ such unlawful and unjustified instances in the long run and therefore has decided ‘to stand firmly against any unlawful activities’ by any groups or individuals in the larger interest of the people of Pfutsero and the Nagas in general.”
