Good morning everyone.

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” Albert Einstein.

Einstein (1879-1955), the brilliant scientist whose innovations exemplified his creative expression, is considered the greatest scientist of all time. In addition, he also was a creative scientist who had the ability to blend science and wisdom. He is an inspiration to educators everywhere, and we should all take his words to heart. His contribution to the development of quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity is a remarkable achievement in the development of physics.

He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1921 for his contributions to theoretical physics.  He has remarkably related knowledge and creative expression.  For a teacher, both are inevitable.

Without a joyful foundation, learning cannot take place.  If there is no joy, there can be no creative learning. Otherwise, it's just for the sake of learning.  When a child applies his body, mind, and heart to the process of learning, he begins to experience creative learning.

As mentors, we play an important role in this continuous process.  Gandhiji's basic craft-centered education should be based on this philosophy.  Holistic education is concerned with the mental, physical, and spiritual development of a child.  A combination of hands-on, mind-on, and heart-on education.  The ancient Indian educational system was based on this type of holistic approach.

With time, as per the needs of the hour and the interests of political parties and leaders, the importance of this education waned. Further, globalisation and economic decentralisation policies have made education a profession that only leads to a job or a secure future.

Indian culture imparts to subsequent generations a mantra that emphasises education should be used to develop individuals and society as a whole.  Gradually, this concept has been limited to individual growth. One of the reasons behind the moral degradation among students, as well as unrest in general, is this practice. Society has moved away from the great values of education due to failure to inculcate values in the education system.

These underlying factors lead to discrimination. Society has changed. There is an ever-increasing divide between those who have and those who don't.  Despite being widely propagated by both ruling and opposing political parties, socialism is not implemented at the grassroots level.

To pass on the values of education to the next generation, educators must be creative, innovative, and hardworking. It should not deviate from the aims and objectives of the visionaries of education.

We ardently believe that education should be used to develop individual talents, and educators must be creative, innovative, and hardworking in order to impart the values of education to the next generation. Despite the fact that most of us do this meticulously, there are still a few places where loopholes can occur. There is a need for corrections. The authorities take this matter very seriously.   Nelson Mandela was right to say: "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."

Due to its creative expression and know-how, education has become the greatest weapon in the world throughout history.
