Prominent Dimapur businessman passes away

DIMAPUR — Prominent Dimapur businessman Hariram Gupta passed away on Wednesday in Delhi, following a prolonged illness.

He is survived by his wife Vidya Devi, two sons, and six grandchildren.

His last journey will begin on September 26 at 1:30 pm from his Delhi residence: 29/17 East Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi-110026. The cremation will take place at Punjabi Bagh Shamshan Ghat at 2 pm.

In view of his death, the Dimapur Hardware Association requested all hardware shops in the district to keep their shops closed from 12 noon onwards on September 26 as a mark of respect to the deceased.

In an update, the association mentioned that his love and values will remain alive in their hearts forever.
