Today the in service teacher have tough option to undergo B.Ed study. First to go for correspondence study there is only one university recognized by the Govt. of Nagaland i.e IGNOU where Diet Diploma is compulsory to be admitted for the course. Secondly, regular course is very expensive as the admission fee plus two years salary to be borne out by the teachers concerned for his/ her substitute teacher through his/her salary during the study leave period of two years. Thirdly, 45% marks norms in B.A for B.Ed admission is making the life of all the senior teacher more difficult as many of the teachers have lesser percentage than that. Therefore, I on behalf of all the in service teacher humbly appeal to the Department of School Education to kindly help us in this regard at the earliest, so that their career will be safe and sound.
