Dimapur, Sep. 20 (EMN): The Principal Secretary to the Governor of Nagaland, Piyush Goyal, has informed all 11 districts deputy commissioners and the vice chancellors of Nagaland University, St. Joseph University, Global Open University and ICFAI University regarding the launch of Swachhta Hi Sewa (SHS) campaign by the president of India.
A press release from Pro to Governor, mentioned that the principal secretary has expressed desire of the Governor PB Acharya that they lead the SHS campaign in their respective jurisdictions and to send a report along with photographs.
Earlier the governor has written to all 60 Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (MLAs) including the Chief Minister and Members of Parliament, to be a part of the SHS campaign requesting them to conduct programmes across the state/constituencies and send details along with photographs of the programme.
The SHS campaign is to continue till Oct. 2 to generate awareness regarding sanitation across the country.
