Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): The All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA) has extended its support to the demand of the All Nagaland Ad hoc Teachers Group (ANATG) for their service regularisation.
A press note from the ANGPTA on Wednesday stated that the ad hoc teachers group had undergone all criteria (suitability test) for their service regularisation. However, the association said ‘in spite of the completion of entire test set by the govt. and their work load being the same as other regular teachers, the ad hoc teachers enjoy only a meagre salary which was not enough to meet their daily needs.’
The ANGPTA urged the govt. and the authority concerned to solve the issues of the ad hoc teachers at the earliest so as ‘to rescue the helpless students who become the ultimate victims in the tussle.’
