Prez Mukherjee, Ravi Nagaland trip cancelled

Staff Reporter DIMAPUR, AUGUST 21 The visit of President, Pranab Mukherjee, scheduled for August 24 next in Dimapur, has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. According to highly reliable sources, the government of India’s interlocutor to the Indo-Naga talks, RN Ravi has also called off his proposed visit on the same day. The same source informed that Ravi, instead of arriving in Nagaland, would be on a “different tour” on the same day. It might be noted that the President was scheduled to grace the convocation of NIT, Chumukedima as the chief guest.
