The NPF 11th Northern Angami A/C is amused by the road show organised by some few individuals to demonstrate their existence on the day of hearing of Mr Neiphiu Rio fake certificate case on 21st October 2016 at Kohima. Such kind of demonstration with placards tantamount to intimidating the judiciary system. What do the handful of people who walk beside and behind Mr Rio with placards meant by “Rio is the answer “. It is unfortunate that few handful of people are obsessed with Rio and even going to the extent of worshiping him if they really meant “Rio is answer to their problem” . The NPF 11th Northern Angami A/C wish to remind these handful of Rio supporters that only God the Almighty is the only answer. No one including Rio can take God’s place. However, if they meant Rio is the answer to the deficit created during his tenure as CM amounting to more than 1,000 crores, then few handful of people who carried placards with the word “Rio is the answer” has send the right message to Mr Neiphiu Rio.
Mr Rio also hinted to his supporters that He will be coming back to state politics. The NPF 11th Northern Angami A/C wonders what has made Rio to change his mind when he has already decided to be the MP Lok Sabha despite of the request made by the party not go away from the state. The Party has a standing resolution not to allow sitting MP both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha to come back to state politics unless their tenures are completed. This resolution was proposed by none other than Neiphiu Rio in the Working Committee meeting when He was the Chief Minister. Now Mr. Rio is only trying to swallow his own vomit. Nevertheless if Rio so desires who can stop him to contest in Election but the Party can’t issue its ticket to its suspended members.
Rio is trying his best to join some other political party but if He wants to join any other party unless He resign as MP, the law will not allow
Him. Presently He is facing three problem: the first is the pending Court case for using fake certificate in His Lok Sabha Election, second is facing technical problem in joining other political party and third is unable to topple the present DAN Government.
NPF Party will fight the next election under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu and MrT.R. Zelaing Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland and there is no question of paving way for Mr. Neiphiu Rio within the NPF Party. Rio should be satisfied as the NPF Party has given him 11 years to be the Chief Minister.I
