DIMAPUR — A three-day crusade called ‘Prayer for Naga nation’ got underway on Friday at the Ebenezer Prayer Centre in Tsiese Basa (Tsiesema) on the theme "But some seeds fell in a good soil, and they produced corn. Some produced a hundred grains, others sixty and others thirty" (Matt. 13:8).
Speaking on the opening day of the crusade, the executive secretary of Chakhesang Christian Revival Church Council (CCRCC), Rev. David Koza, stressed on the importance of observing prayer times in order to be a good soldier of Christ. Therefore, urged the congregation to observe maximum time in prayer.
Describing ‘giving and offerings’ as a powerful tool in the lives of Christian, Rev. Koza, however, cautioned the congregation to be careful while giving saying that ‘wrong giving’ could hamper the lives of humanity in great volume.
“If you give a powerful gun to a terrorist, with that gun immense destruction to humanity may take place. But if you give that gun to a good soldier, a mighty nation may be saved from enemies,” Rev. Koza said.
The three-day crusade was aimed at fostering peace and unity among the Nagas. It is being hosted by Visasielie Suohuo and family and organised by the Ebenezer Prayer Centre, Tsiese Basa.
Chairperson of Ebenezer Prayer Centre, Gloria Pienyü, warned the Nagas to be prepared to face any kind of eventualities with prayer and fasting. As many young men and women could fell prey to evil designs in the upcoming Hornbill Festival, Pienyü urged the Nagas especially the prayer warriors to fast and prayed for the deliverance from such evil designs.
