Power supply to Chümoukedima, Peren and parts of Dimapur, Niuland will remain disrupted on July 27 for maintenance work.
DIMAPUR — Power supply to Chümoukedima and Peren districts and parts of Dimapur and Niuland will remain disrupted for three hours on Monday, July 27, as the Power department undertakes vegetation clearance along a key transmission corridor.
According to a press release issued by the executive engineer at Dimapur Transmission Division, the department will shut down the 66 kV Chümoukedima and 66 kV Ganeshnagar transmission lines from 6 am to 9 am to facilitate vegetation clearing near the Zoological Park area.
The scheduled shutdown will affect consumers receiving electricity from the Sovima, Chümoukedima and Ganeshnagar substations, impacting power supply across Chümoukedima district, Peren district and parts of Dimapur and Niuland districts.
The department expressed regret for the inconvenience and sought the cooperation of consumers during the maintenance work.
