DIMAPUR — Power department has announced a scheduled shutdown affecting parts of Chümoukedima and Peren districts from August 8 to 9 to facilitate vegetation clearing near the Zoological Park.
A press release issued by the executive engineer of Transmission Division, Dimapur, informed that the 66kV Chümoukedima and 66kV Ganeshnagar transmission feeders will remain shut from 6 am to 9 am on both days.

The shutdown will affect consumers under Chümoukedima district, Peren district, and those receiving power supply from Chümoukedima, Sovima, and Ganeshnagar substations, the department stated.
It requested the cooperation of the public and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
