Power supply will be suspended in Wokha and Tseminyu districts on January 10 due to maintenance work on the 132kV Doyang–Sanis transmission line.

DIMAPUR — Power supply will be shut down in Tseminyu and Wokha districts on Saturday to facilitate vegetation clearance and maintenance of the 132kV Doyang–Sanis transmission line under the Kohima Transmission Division.
According to an official notice issued by the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima, the maintenance programme is scheduled as part of efforts to prevent disruption and ensure stable power supply. The shutdown will be in effect from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The affected feeder is the 132kV Doyang–Sanis line, and all areas under Wokha and Tseminyu districts supplied by this line will remain without power during the period.
Consumers and the general public in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown, which the department said is unavoidable for smooth execution of the maintenance work.
