Power shutdown in Dimapur, adjoining districts on November 1

DIMAPUR — Power department has announced a scheduled shutdown in Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Peren and Niuland districts on November 1 for annual maintenance work at the Nagarjan sub-station.

A press release issued on Thursday informed that the shutdown will be carried out from 6 am to 9 am in order to facilitate maintenance of the 2x100 MVA, 132/66/33 kV Nagarjan sub-station.

The department informed that power supply to the affected districts will remain suspended during this period.

While acknowledging the inconvenience to consumers, it requested for public cooperation during the maintenance work.
