Power shutdown alert: Wokha-Philimi transmission line to undergo maintenance on May 5-6

• DIMAPUR — The executive engineer of transmission division, Kohima, has informed that vegetation clearance and maintenance programme of the 132 kV Wokha-Philimi transmission line is scheduled for May 5-6.

• In this regard, there will be a total shutdown of power from 8 am to 4 pm daily on May 5–6 to facilitate smooth execution of the clearance and maintenance activities, the EE stated in a press release.
• 
  
• All consumers and the public in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation during the shutdown period.
