Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): The department of Power has informed that the 33kV Kohima Ring Main-2 and 33kV Chakhabama feeders has collapsed due to landslide near Mohonkhola, Kohima affecting power supply to Lerie colony Kohima, Southern Angami Area, Chakhabama area and Chozuba area.
A press release from the executive engineer of Kohima transmission division on Friday informed that restoration will be delayed ‘since the landslide is still continuing.’
“Further, the 33kV AP-1 feeder has also been affected due to landslide near Sechü, Zubza affecting the power supply to Peren district and Medzipema area. All consumers and public are therefore requested to bear the inconvenience caused,” it informed.
