Kohima, June 26 (EMN): Gum scored four goals as league leaders Power Comm thrashed 6th placed Morung United 6-1 at D Khel ground Kohima on Monday morning. With the win, Power Comm are one game away from clinching the Morning Premier League title.
During the match, Senpenlo scored the first goal for Power Comm in the 19th minute to take the lead in the first half and Gum ran riot in the second half as he scored four goals to lead Power Comm to victory. Gum found the net in the 50th, 59th, 85th and 86th minute. The lone goal for Morung United was scored by Lithung in the 64th minute.
With 38 points from 17 games, Power Comm leads the table of the Morning Premier League, and Morung United with the loss was demoted to 7th place.
With a game remaining in the league, Power Comm will face Amur Falcon FC on July 7.
