[caption id="attachment_255042" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Officials at the meeting on the Poshan Abhiyan Mission at Medziphema in Dimapur.[/caption] Dimapur, June 16 (EMN): A meeting on Poshan Abhiyan Mission, a holistic scheme for nutrition, was held at the office of ADC, Medziphema, on June 14. The meeting was chaired by EAC Medziphema Sentilong Ozukum. CDPO Medziphema, I Tsungrosongla Ao spoke on the importance of Poshan Abhiyan, its focus on adolescent girls, pregnant women, lactating mothers and children from 0-6 years of age for an overall development, informed an update from DIPR. The members of Poshan Abhiyan Mission discussed “regarding convergence for different activities and programme” in order to spread awareness among the public and “chalked out the actual plan for every block level to advocate through IEC, for the month of July and August.” They also decided to take up its first convergence activity at Moava village on June 26. Focus will be given to anaemia in young children, adolescent girls and women at the programme.
