[caption id="attachment_166397" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Polling personnel carry Electronic Voting Machines and VVPAT as they leave the district election officer’s office for polling duty in Longleng on Feb. 26.[/caption] Dimapur, Feb. 26 (EMN): Polling parties guarded by security forces for 108 polling stations at 49th Tamlu and 50th Longleng assembly constituencies (AC) were deployed from Longleng district headquarters on Feb. 26 to conduct the Nagaland assembly elections scheduled for Feb. 27. Of the total 108 polling stations in the district, 47 polling stations fall in 49 Tamlu AC, while 61 fall in 50th Longleng AC. The polling personnel include 18 women polling parties comprising 10 in 49th Tamlu AC and eight in 50th Longleng AC. A Longleng DPRO report stated that no untoward incident was reported till the filing of this report.
