Police recover skeletal remains in Noklak

Skeletal remains of and an unidentified person along with pieces of clothing recovered by police in Noklak.

Dimapur, July 25 (EMN): Noklak Police recovered the skeletal remains of an unidentified person in the forest at Pathso village, 2.5 km away from Panso Police Station, on July 21.

According to press release issued by PRO, Noklak Police on Monday, the skeletal remains of the deceased is suspected to be that of a matured male. Police also recovered items of clothing including blue half pants with red strips, formal navy blue pants, a black coloured shirt with ‘Adidas’ written in white color, purple shirt with black strips and an orange coloured sweater with blue strips.

On completion of all legal formalities, the dead body/skeleton was shifted to Panso police station for examination and identification, police said.

Police further informed claimants, relatives or friends of the deceased to contact the officer-in-charge, Panso PS (phone numbers 6009308182/ 7005417292) within seven days from the date of issue of the press release.
